Optimizing our operational performance
In 2025, Avril made operational performance a key driver for fulfilling its commitments and strengthening its competitiveness. The Group is accelerating the transformation of its sites and organizations by leveraging shared and efficient methods.
Improving excellence and competitiveness
In 2025, Avril accelerated its transformation efforts to drive operational excellence.
Through the EOS program, the Group has accelerated the structuring of day-to-day performance at its sites and within support teams, with common standards, management rituals, enhanced problem-solving, and the broader sharing of best practices.
Boost - the cost optimization program - has amplified this approach by working directly within subsidiaries to simplify organizational structures, clarify roles, facilitate decision-making, and ensure the execution of action plans.
This approach made it possible to address both operational needs and organizational levers, reduce friction, and generate sustainable gains, thereby enhancing the Group’s competitiveness.
Our positive impact
€16M savings generated by Procurement in 2025
65% of the expenses covered by a CSR maturity assessment (EcoVadis, etc.)
A highly engaged procurement community
In 2025, the procurement team strengthened its contribution to competitiveness by aligning itself with the EOS initiative and the Boost Plan. Since 2023, Avril has developed a responsible procurement strategy aimed at better identifying supplier risks and opportunities and supporting their progress, particularly by encouraging them to undergo EcoVadis assessments.
In 2025, Procurement also played a direct role in decarbonization by engaging in discussions with our suppliers with the highest emissions to jointly identify decarbonization strategies, such as accelerating the integration of biofuels into transportation contracts or qualifying sources of low-carbon chemicals.
Finally, the Procurement team strengthened its involvement in WeCare 2 by reinforcing safety requirements for service providers and external companies.
Generative AI for Collective Performance
In 2025, Avril stepped up its support for teams in the area of generative AI, with a clear goal: to help everyone work more simply, more quickly, and with greater impact. For the second season of “Generative AI for All,” employees were able to explore practical applications, gain greater autonomy, and share feedback across departments. This initiative frees up time spent on repetitive tasks, improves the quality of deliverables, and fosters innovation in everyday work.
More efficient information systems
Beyond a simple system update, the projects carried out in 2025 drove a genuine business transformation. They mark the culmination of a major modernization cycle for most subsidiaries and functions, both in France and internationally, notably with the “big bang” deployment of S4 Oleon across all its sites. The programs deployed in 2025 directly address key business challenges: simplifying user experience, improving process integration, and strengthening the IT department’s ability to support business evolution, whether through process digitization or the integration of new activities.
The sites involved in the ERP deployment are:
- Oleon’s historic sites: Ertvelde and Oelegem in Belgium, Venette in France, Emmerich in Germany, Port Klang in Malaysia
- The operations of MiXscience, Terrial, and Dielna, as well as the financial management of the Avril Solutions for Agriculture business
- The Saipol sites.
