Our performance impact

Avril’s performance is driven by the operational excellence of its businesses and teams. Through continuous process improvement, investments in its manufacturing facilities, and digital transformation, the Group is enhancing its efficiency and the quality of its products and services to boost its competitiveness and strengthen customer confidence.

Optimizing our operational performance

In 2025, Avril made operational performance a key driver for fulfilling its commitments and strengthening its competitiveness. The Group is accelerating the transformation of its sites and organizations by leveraging shared and efficient methods.

Improving excellence and competitiveness

In 2025, Avril accelerated its transformation efforts to drive operational excellence.
Through the EOS program, the Group has accelerated the structuring of day-to-day performance at its sites and within support teams, with common standards, management rituals, enhanced problem-solving, and the broader sharing of best practices.
Boost - the cost optimization program - has amplified this approach by working directly within subsidiaries to simplify organizational structures, clarify roles, facilitate decision-making, and ensure the execution of action plans.

This approach made it possible to address both operational needs and organizational levers, reduce friction, and generate sustainable gains, thereby enhancing the Group’s competitiveness.

Our positive impact

€16M savings generated by Procurement in 2025

65% of the expenses covered by a CSR maturity assessment (EcoVadis, etc.)

A highly engaged procurement community

In 2025, the procurement team strengthened its contribution to competitiveness by aligning itself with the EOS initiative and the Boost Plan. Since 2023, Avril has developed a responsible procurement strategy aimed at better identifying supplier risks and opportunities and supporting their progress, particularly by encouraging them to undergo EcoVadis assessments.

In 2025, Procurement also played a direct role in decarbonization by engaging in discussions with our suppliers with the highest emissions to jointly identify decarbonization strategies, such as accelerating the integration of biofuels into transportation contracts or qualifying sources of low-carbon chemicals.
Finally, the Procurement team strengthened its involvement in WeCare 2 by reinforcing safety requirements for service providers and external companies.

Generative AI for Collective Performance

In 2025, Avril stepped up its support for teams in the area of generative AI, with a clear goal: to help everyone work more simply, more quickly, and with greater impact. For the second season of “Generative AI for All,” employees were able to explore practical applications, gain greater autonomy, and share feedback across departments. This initiative frees up time spent on repetitive tasks, improves the quality of deliverables, and fosters innovation in everyday work.

Products that boost our clients' performance

Avril develops high-value-added products across its four industrial sectors to address its clients' challenges and meet consumer expectations.

Oilseed Processing and Renewable Energies Oleo100 is driving sustainable mobility forward

In 2025, Oleo100 reaffirms its role in decarbonizing transportation with more than 20,000 heavy-duty trucks and over 2,000 fuel tanks in service in France, as well as recognition in the form of the Energy Transition Gold Award. A new low-GHG Oleo100 offering further strengthens this momentum. Backed by the Empreinte by Saipol program, it is based on French rapeseed grown using low-carbon and traceable practices. The result: a reduction of at least 80% in GHG emissions (compared to 60% for Oleo100), while helping to better compensate committed farmers.

SOLUTIONS FOR AGRICULTURE Datamilk: Data Driving Efficiency in Dairy Farms

Datamilk is an audit tool for dairy farms equipped with milking robots. It transforms data from milking robots into powerful tools for improving dairy performance: production data, milk quality, feed intake consistency, feed cost margin, and more. It also enables early detection of potential issues and helps optimize a farm’s carbon footprint.

SPECIALTIES Ecolibra: Building Sustainability into the Design Process

Developed by Oleon, Ecolibra is an eco-design tool that assesses the sustainability of new products from the earliest stages of their development. Using a simple questionnaire with about 30 criteria—covering topics such as the origin of raw materials, energy use, transportation, and waste management—the tool assigns a score that helps teams make informed decisions. In two and a half years of use, 62 projects have been evaluated, 58 of which demonstrated sustainability benefits. By integrating environmental considerations into the design of solutions at a very early stage, Ecolibra enables the development of products with a lower environmental impact and supports clients in reducing their own environmental footprint.
