Avril is the industrial and financial player in the vegetable oil and protein sector
The Group was created and operates on an original model: a sector-based organization, from seeds to processed products, in which each activity creates value for all links in the chain, in France and abroad.
Over 40 years, Avril has relied on a unique model to structure the sectors and enhance the value of the production of the French Farm, creating value for all. Avril reinvests 100% of the value created in its own development and that of the industry, without paying dividends to its shareholders. This long-term vision, so specific to the agricultural world, enables the Group to manage the complex economic contexts that follow one another, while continuing to prepare for the future, through structuring investments and innovation.
It's a virtuous model, focused on the future and the sustainability of the sectors, their production and their markets. It's not just about sustainability, it's about added value, through the collective development of ever more sustainable farming practices that not only feed people and animals in the best possible way, but also contribute to the challenges of decarbonization.
Solid results in 2025 amid a global climate of uncertainty
In the second year of implementing its strategic plan, AMBITION 2030, Avril delivered a solid performance in 2025 despite an uncertain global environment, a slowdown in economic activity - particularly in the second half of the year - and increased competition across many business lines.
These results demonstrate the resilience of the business model, thanks to a balanced and complementary portfolio - both in terms of business lines and geographies - and a clear strategic direction, supported by an ambitious investment policy.
SPRING: Strong non-financial performance
In 2025, Avril confirmed the progress of its SPRING sustainability roadmap, with an overall score of 5.6, exceeding the target of 5 set for the year. This result marks a significant milestone for the Group, which has shifted from a reporting approach to a genuine management of non-financial performance. Thanks to monitoring tools shared with subsidiaries and the Group’s finance teams, as well as improvements in data quality and processing, indicators are now tracked throughout the year, enabling the Group to anticipate deviations and quickly adjust action plans. The results achieved demonstrate the Group’s ability to leverage its purpose as a driver of overall performance, a fact recognized by non-financial rating agencies.
The Strategic Plan: Ambition 2030
The Ambition 2030 plan sets out our path for the coming years, marking a new cycle of growth and reinforcing the commitments of our subsidiaries, each in line with its respective market. Building on the strategic refocusing undertaken since 2021, it is fully aligned with the Group’s ambition to become the leader in plant-based transformation, driving the agricultural, food, and environmental transitions.
To achieve this, the Group has structured its development around five strategic pillars that cut across its activities and business areas. To accomplish this, we are mobilizing significant investment resources, both in our industrial operations and in innovation and external growth. Our financial strength, proven resilience, and commitment to our core values position us well to achieve these objectives.
