An eco-designed website
This website has been designed and developed with an eco-design objective in application of our raison d’être and our commitments.
A design and development adapted to the rules of eco-design
For that we had a reasoned approach to the conception and design of this platform. Good design practices (limiting the number of visuals, using vector resources, limiting the use of videos…) support good technical practices (asset compression, progressive loading…). All this in a virtuous approach.
An accommodation certified for its environmental performance
This approach also applies to hosting (the source of most of the environmental impact of a website). This new platform is hosted in a datacenter (based in France) multi-certified for its environmental performance.
Still on the subject of hosting, we aim to further refine the analysis of its performance over the coming months in order to adjust its use and limit our impact even more.
A platform that adapts to terminal performance
We also offer a “low power” mode that allows you to consult a site even lighter and therefore with an even lower environmental impact.
This mode is activated by default depending on the performance of the terminals (OS version, browser), or if the battery level of the device is too low. This way, the browsing experience is always fluid regardless of the device used. The “low power” mode can also be activated manually by the user. Once activated, this mode remains active throughout the user’s visits to the site.
This didactic and very concrete approach of the impacts, which can be assimilated by the user, proposes a stronger awareness while allowing him to be more active in his approach.
