HARi&CO: 10 years of commitment to promoting plant-based food

HARi&CO celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024! A wonderful opportunity to congratulate its teams for this decade of innovation.
Since it was created in 2014, HARi&CO has been promoting a more
plant-based diet, by offering simple, healthy, tasty recipes where
legumes take pride of place. This year, 2025, the brand hits a new
milestone with a range of veggie boxes made specifically for
snacking. The aim? To make plant-based food even more accessible,
while respecting the planet and farmers.

What if the future of our diet saw legumes becoming a must-of-musts in our meals? This is what HARi&CO, a trailblazer of plant-based cuisine in France, firmly believes. Unlike ultra-processed
products and meat substitutes that exist on the market, the Lyon-based brand places the focus on raw ingredients – lentils, chickpeas and kidney beans – to offer nutrient-rich, flavorsome recipes. “We’re convinced that the future of plant-based diets hinges on real, simple, and tasty plant-based cuisine,”
explains Emmanuel Brehier, HARi&CO Co-founder.

Over 80 products in sync with trends

HARi&CO, has taken advantage of the new
avenue opened up by the French EGalim Act and has brought legumes into spheres where they were virtually non-existent: into
canteens, as well as into over 5,000 mass retail outlets. And, what’s the secret of this success?
Healthy products, without additives or complex industrial processes, for everyone. HARi&CO covers all types of consumption, from catering products and ready meals, to aperitif-time snacks. This year, 2025, the brand steps up its game even more with the launch of its veggie boxes, an additive-free, quick-snack range. A market first!

Eat better, produce better

In addition to making our meals plant based, HARi&CO is pursuing another goal: to develop the organic legume sector
in France. These crops, which are highly conducive to natural soil enrichment and regeneration, are at the heart of a sustainable, fair agricultural model. The Lyon-based company works hand-in-hand with three agricultural cooperatives and twenty or so French farmers in the Rhône-Alpes region, grouped together in the HARi’CULTEURS network.
This partnership ensures fair remuneration for producers, short supply chains, and a reduced carbon footprint. An initiative that reflects our, Group’s purpose, Serving the Earth. HARi&CO joined Avril’s ecosystem in 2023. “A key turning point for accelerating our development and for taking advantage of great Group synergies, such as thepooling together of the Green Team* sales forces”, enthuses Emmanuel Brehier. “A great way for boosting visibility and for embodying plant-based cuisine that willsoon be a can’t-do-without, for everyone!”.
