What is oilcake?

Oilcake is the solid dry matter remaining after extracting oil from seeds such as rapeseed, sunflower, or soybean through the crushing process. Packed with plant-based proteins, amino acids, and minerals, it serves as high-value feed for livestock, including cattle, swine, and poultry. 

When produced from French-grown crops, oilcake replaces imported protein sources often tied to deforestation-linked soy and directly supports food sovereignty.
