Evertree, the chemistry of proteins

In keeping with the rationale of innovation and industrialization that led to the creation of the “renewable energies” activity, and supported by the European REACH regulation that, in 2007, tightened the legislation concerning chemical substances that present a health risk, Avril has been developing a respectful and efficient oleochemistry for the past twenty years.

A young, innovative French company, Evertree, an Avril subsidiary, develops, produces and markets high-performance adhesive solutions derived from rapeseed and sunflower. These biosourced resins, derived from renewable and local resources, offer numerous environmental advantages: they help to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the furniture industry, by limiting the use of petrochemical products. They are also less harmful to health and the environment, by reducing formaldehyde emissions. Following the first Biosourced MDF panel launched in 2021 with Panneaux de Corrèze, Evertree launched PANTair in 2023, a 100% French Biosourced particleboard, in partnership with French manufacturer Seripanneaux. Evertree works closely with the furniture industry to democratize the use of plant-based resins in our furniture. Numerous partnerships are currently being developed with interior designers, architects and furniture manufacturers.
